Where is everyone planning to apply/how many programs? I am planning to apply to Marketing programs at the following: Harvard, UC Berkeley, Cornell, NYU, UCLA, UCSD Still figuring out the rest.. and need to get started on these applications soon!

I decided to go with 15 schools, I'm done with the first 4 applications and trying to submit a couple more this weekend. This is a hard process!

I am mentally preparing to be rejected by all 10 I apply to and plan to apply again next year. Which schools do you think are the best fit for your research interests?

I connect with the research at all the schools I’m applying to but perhaps more with HBS, Berkeley, Kellogg, MIT. What are your top choices?

Expand Very cool, good luck! My top choices are UPenn and CMU, but I would be excited to get in anywhere this year.

It's been tough editing my SOPs for each school and super tedious getting all the applications themselves done, but I'm glad we're almost there!

Expand By relaying my anxieties to them haha. It helps that they’re really supportive and kind. I see that you’re applying to 15 schools so you also have some wonderful recommenders. Also, side note, I don't know about you guys but I've been on the reddit gradadmissions group everyday lmao.. I'm super anxious about getting interviews over the next couple months too

Wanted to introduce myself, as I'm applying to a smattering of b-school PhDs this cycle (in addition to some social psych programs). Ended up submitting applications to a mix of marketing / OB / decision sciences programs at U-Chicago, Penn, NYU, Columbia, Stanford, Harvard and Yale, plus six social psych programs, 13 applications in total. No news yet of course, but best of luck to everyone as we continue to wait! We're all expecting timelines to be substantially delayed this cycle due to COVID, right?

I haven't heard anything about delays in reviewing applications (just that some programs will not be accepting as many students as usual). I have not heard anything yet personally. It looks like HBS sent out OB interviews yesterday.
