Outer Heaven Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 I'm applying to a few phd programs as I wrap up my MA. But my husband is working on his BA in nursing, I was wondering if there are benefits provided to my husband from the university I ultimately chose to attend? I'm just curious since he would like to finish his studies where I would be located.
PsyDuck90 Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 It's highly unlikely, but if you get accepted, you can ways ask. I would maybe see what their transfer policies are in the nursing program in general.

If so the answer is yes, you can get dual coverage for both you and your husband. If you are asking about him transferring into the same school, then maybe they can pull some strings to get him accepted assuming that he applied/applies and qualifies.
alwaysapplying Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 I assume your own insurance is provided for free, and then you have to pay full price for your partner's?
Outer Heaven Posted January 6, 2021 Author Posted January 6, 2021 (edited) Yes, I was talking about insurance coverage. Thank you. Edited January 6, 2021 by Outer Heaven spelling
PokePsych Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Some universities do pay for your partner (aka mine fully pays my husbands fees) IvanC 1
