I already accepted it so I don't lose my spot, but I won't hear back from my first choice until March. Then again, my first choice is a huge reach (Harvard lol) and IHEID was my second choice so this is probably where I'll end up and that's a pretty solid result in my book. Still awaiting a decision on the scholarship/aid - pretty anxious about it because I am not sure how I'll accept my place without it. Does anyone know someone who received some form of aid? There is one closed Facebook group for admitted students this year. I check there not inside though but 4 people was joined last week that`s why I thought maybe some results are out already but maybe they are from the first round. Hey, I don't know if I'm late to answer this but there are mixed opinions about this. Many people feel a motivation letter should be in a letter format (including a lot of applicants for MDev 2021). However, personally, I feel that it is unnecessary and wastes words and that it's okay to write it in an essay format as well (sans the "Dear" and "Regards/Yours sincerely" etc.). I applied for the Development Studies programme. It's amongst my top 3 choices -- depends on scholarships/financial aid etc. Although IHEID is relatively inexpensive, Geneva isn't.
