I found out I got into Columbia earlier today and am SO excited. I just got an email with my financial aid package from the school, but no scholarships mentioned. Did anyone on here receive a scholarship?

Congratulations to you too! I got into the data program and qualify for federal loans, but covering the $105,000 in tuition is going to be, uh, tricky.

yeah hard agree. Especially because the program I applied for is 2 years instead of the usual one since its a dual degree so its going to be even more expensive. I'm still happy I got financial aid but lol. At the moment, berkeley is still the most affordable to me due to being In-state and the ability to qualify for TA

Can't wait!! :) :):)

Where are you from? Do you have an Instagram account?

Usually Columbia itself creates the official Facebook page, right?

Congrats to all who are hearing back today! Very exciting. Has anyone heard from NYU literary reportage? Still waiting on my end...

If it makes you feel better.. I still haven't heard back from NYU either. Although my specialization is different

Anyone who got into Columbia get their financial aid info yet? Weirdly enough, I never got an e-mail alerting me about my acceptance (or even that my application status was changed) -- as I mentioned elsewhere in this read, I just decided to go look at my application and it said I had been accepted! But today I got an email from housing congratulating me on my acceptance and giving me a bunch of info about housing. I'm wondering if somehow I didn't receive my financial aid info, or if they just haven't sent it out yet. So, wondering if anyone else has gotten theirs!

Yeah, I did yesterday about a couple hours after I found out about my acceptance. It's in an email and they break it up for you. Like mine said I won 15,000 in scholarship and qualified for 20,000 in federal loans, so in total it said 35,000 would cover that cost. It also sent a link to Columbia's student financial aid account.

I don't know how the process is that their emailing with, but this is all I know at least

I also need some assistance with deciding as well and were hoping to hear some thoughts.

I won a full ride to CUNY, but I also love Medill (M.S in Politics, Policy and Foreign Affairs specialization). I received a 20,000 scholarship from them, but I'd still have to take loans out. I kinda feel at crossroads.
