Those who are waitlisted at brock, did y’all apply before the Feb 1 deadline?

I emailed UVIC about updates to their decision timeline. This is the email I got back just now. So it seems to me that perhaps first rounds will come out at the end of April/early may and that second rounds will come later? So all applicants will know by the end of may? Cause it seems odd if they decide by end of April and don’t tell people till the end of may. Anyway thought id share the update!

Waterloo update for others waiting to hear back. I had just emailed asking some questions about my admission and the person I emailed is gone on break so I got a bounce back and it had this note on the bottom.

strange!  they emailed me and told me I was recommended for admission and I had until April 26 to accept my offer

u guys!!!!! I can't believe it holyy shit. I just got an email an hour ago from McMaster recommending me for admission. I can't believe I'm in! I swear there is nothing special about me. If there is anyone out there doubting themselves, believe in your-self! the process will work itself out!

ahhh I'm shaking still, Mac here I come  so excited

Thank you! honestly I really feel that it was probably my LOI. GPA for final 2 years is 3.88/4, no publications, although i have research experience working with a prof for two years, plus I'm just finishing up my fourth year thesis project, and I did a research internship over the summer. Other than that I just got loads of volunteer experience working with older adults to promote mental wellbeing (so not very clinical at all). That's what I focused my LOI on. Hope that helps!

Thank you! I literally submitted it like 4 days before it was due. So Jan 20th or something like that.

Not sure yet. the email said we have to wait till the portal updates which can take up to two weeks, and then it will say the date. I'll update once I get more info.

Not sure if anyone applied to thesis-based programs but I got into MSc Epi at uOttawa last night, will be declining.

Info for anyone wondering: deposit is $250, have until Apr 29 to respond to the offer but until June something to pay the deposit. Got $6000 admission scholarship ($2000 for first 3 terms if you keep grades up) due to GPA 9.0 or greater on uOttawa scale.
