slacktivist Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 I know it's about fifty notches down the prestige list from HYP, but has anyone heard anything at all from Iowa or Purdue? Any other applicants out there? Bueller? Bueller? CE No word yet from Iowa.
maicondouglas Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Anyone have any information on Maryland? I saw a couple acceptances listed 2 weeks ago, but thats it. No word yet, but I wouldn't fret. Their app deadline was 2/1 I think.
Ashlett Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 (edited) Well, MIT rejection just sent. Pretty nice form letter, and I thought it was a stretch but they were my top choice. I'm 6/7 for rejects, I think right now, since I haven't heard anything from Virginia, Washington, or Chicago. That means Georgetown is the only one left... But I just got a fully-funded Fellowship to China, so -shrug- There's always next year if needed! Edited February 25, 2011 by Ashlett

Zahar Berkut Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 (edited) Hey, a fully-funded fellowship to China sounds pretty good! In any case, best of luck to a fellow IR nerd. wtncffts Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Anyone heard from Vanderbilt? They sent out that e-mail about notifying applicants "soon", but I haven't received anything. I'm assuming a reject but I'd appreciate knowing for sure.

wtncffts Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 I have not even seen anyone claim an accept or waitlist from Vanderbilt, much less a reject. There are a couple accepts from the end of January on the results page, but that's it. I don't recall whether anyone claimed them in this thread though.
slacktivist Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 No word yet, but I wouldn't fret. Their app deadline was 2/1 I think. I just got greedy and assumed that every school would be like Rice, who sent me an acceptance one week after the deadline.
TeamCoco-Bollo Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 anybody claiming the syracuse post? any details? My partner was offered from Syracuse with funding Feb. 16th. Notified through a very nice e-mail, I didn't post it on the results on the off chance that she did.
tolstoy Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 (edited) They just said that all offers come with funding and that they'd be giving more details next week. Edited February 26, 2011 by tolstoy

gradstudent2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Congrats! Any word on funding? Thanks! It was an informal email, funding details to follow

mormegil Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Is there anyone here who did not get the Maryland rejection e-mail?
polarbear0627 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Is anyone still waiting for Northwestern?
slacktivist Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) Is there anyone here who did not get the Maryland rejection e-mail? I haven't received anything from Maryland. Was there any specific information on admit numbers or anything like that? Edited February 27, 2011 by slacktivist
mormegil Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 I haven't received anything from Maryland. Was there any specific information on admit numbers or anything like that? Nope. I saw two rejections posted on the results page. Both were informed through email to check the website early this morning. In the last few years Maryland rejections went out around mid-March.
JPhoenix Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 I have not heard anything from Maryland yet either. Im expecting probably this week. My nervousness increased when I saw the results page.
TeamCoco-Bollo Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Any claimers or information on the George Mason admit that is up on the results board? My partner applied there and is very interested in any info.
roark Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Is anyone still waiting for Northwestern? Yep, I'm still waiting. Called them last Monday and was told "end of this week." Guess not.
rosie14 Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Saw someone received a fellowship to Georgetown (American). Anyone want to own up to it?
JPhoenix Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Does Maryland send out all acceptances before rejections?
