I know it's about fifty notches down the prestige list from HYP, but has anyone heard anything at all from Iowa or Purdue? Any other applicants out there? Bueller? Bueller?

CE

No word yet from Iowa.

Anyone have any information on Maryland? I saw a couple acceptances listed 2 weeks ago, but thats it.

No word yet, but I wouldn't fret. Their app deadline was 2/1 I think.

Well, MIT rejection just sent. Pretty nice form letter, and I thought it was a stretch but they were my top choice. I'm 6/7 for rejects, I think right now, since I haven't heard anything from Virginia, Washington, or Chicago. That means Georgetown is the only one left...

But I just got a fully-funded Fellowship to China, so -shrug- There's always next year if needed!

Hey, a fully-funded fellowship to China sounds pretty good! In any case, best of luck to a fellow IR nerd.

Anyone heard from Vanderbilt? They sent out that e-mail about notifying applicants "soon", but I haven't received anything. I'm assuming a reject but I'd appreciate knowing for sure.

I have not even seen anyone claim an accept or waitlist from Vanderbilt, much less a reject.

There are a couple accepts from the end of January on the results page, but that's it. I don't recall whether anyone claimed them in this thread though.

I just got greedy and assumed that every school would be like Rice, who sent me an acceptance one week after the deadline.

anybody claiming the syracuse post? any details?

My partner was offered from Syracuse with funding Feb. 16th. Notified through a very nice e-mail, I didn't post it on the results on the off chance that she did.

They just said that all offers come with funding and that they'd be giving more details next week.

Is there anyone here who did not get the Maryland rejection e-mail?

I haven't received anything from Maryland.

Was there any specific information on admit numbers or anything like that?

Nope. I saw two rejections posted on the results page. Both were informed through email to check the website early this morning. In the last few years Maryland rejections went out around mid-March.

I have not heard anything from Maryland yet either. Im expecting probably this week. My nervousness increased when I saw the results page.

Is anyone still waiting for Northwestern?

Yep, I'm still waiting. Called them last Monday and was told "end of this week." Guess not.
