Can I ask you (and anyone who got into OISE), if you received the email from the department like Feb or March about suggesting you for applying for OGS (Ontario Graduate Scholarship)?

I applied for OISE Counselling psych and MSW at UofT, then I received the suggestion email for OGS in MSW but didn't receive anything similar from OISE...

Got my rejection from the McGill counselling psych program today LOL. For the sake of transparency for any future applicants, a heads up that being an out-of-province applicant seemed to have read as a disadvantage. I had an interview with my POI the first week of Feb. and she made it clear that the department's committee holds final say. 

I ended up hearing from one of the committee directors the last week of March 'asking for supporting syllabi' to determine if I could be admitted or not because apparently the courses I listed as meeting equivalency did not seem to be sufficient (despite completing an Honours BA at a U15 Ontario school and planning ahead from my first year to apply to clinical & counselling programs...) and that she would be meeting with my potential POI to review. I suppose it was not enough. 

Feel pretty dejected about it but I cannot imagine being an international applicant and trying to meet hard-lined course equivalency standards when it's like this for out-of-province. So, take that as you may but I wish that I hadn't been left high and dry for two months like this.

Heya, I just got an unofficial acceptance via a meet with the advisor. She said I'll recieve the official email soon, didn't give a date tho just said sometime before april end. I will most probably be accepting since I'm fresh out of undergrad too and didn't expect getting in lol. Also because I'm interested in philosophy (in addition to psych) to a great degree and the courses in this program match my interests. We have the same stats essentially, although i have much less experience, only a couple of months in a clinical hospital setting. Is there any whatsapp group where the class of 26 could connect?

I haven't seen anything yet for a groupchat about Luther's Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy program- wondering if anyone else has been accepted?

Also got rejected to OISE Med counselling! I've seen a whole bunch of people with rejections- I think we were all emailed at the same time!

Got my rejection from OISE Med Counselling yesterday afternoon too! Glad they sped things up this year, last year I had to wait till end of May to hear back.

I also got a rejection from the OISE Med Counselling program yesterday. I'll be attending uOttawa for their Med Counselling program (course-based) this coming year. Is anyone else going to uOttawa for this program? I would love to connect!

I was just accepted to Laurier's Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy program! This was my top choice so I would love to connect with others who are going into this program. 

I didn't get an official rejection from OISE but did get an email from the AO that all of the spots had been filled and if I was interested in the Global Mental Health program. I think they might have sent the email out to international students & I'm assuming my portal will be updated with a rejection soon.
