Got my WashU rejection. Expected but a little bummed. I only have Brown left now so I'm just going to operate on hope and delusion. I'll let you know if that works.

waking up to a WashU rejection, after they said in an info session that decisions would be out in late january, was a doozy. also waiting on NYU which atp i also think is a soft rejection (a nasty concept, btw.)

Can you ask your cat about Brown? Or alternatively I'll take a sentence from a random page of Murakami and try to decipher its meaning. I think collectively we can get to the bottom of this

For me, one of the most frustrating aspects of this process is writing a piece that would've slayed the sample after already submitting.

yes! I’ve been rather prolific these last few agonizing weeks and generated a whole new chapbook after my last one took me like a year to develop

i asked the tarot if i'll get accepted off the 'cuse waitlist and drew the tower...twice. not sure how to feel about that.
