joops Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 So, as I was reading these boards the other day, I noticed that a number of people use chocolate as a coping mechanism. Later that day, I was talking to my mother, and she told me that the price of chocolate might rise. Personally, I prefer shopping for discount clothing as a vice, but I wanted to post on here to warn chocolate lovers that they might want to stock up now. Here is an article: http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Investing/Dispatch/WorldChocolateShortageAhead.aspx Good luck to everyone!

Here is an article: http://articles.mone...rtageAhead.aspx Good luck to everyone! Thanks! Personally, some chocolate caramels never fail to soothe my nerves. I haven't taken to the whole dark chocolate fad, though. I will definitely stock up! Who knows, maybe I could sell them on a "chocolate black market" for an exorbitant price to folks who need their chocolate fix.
SupernovaOptical Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 I eat chocolates and unhealthy food ( most healthy food just does not look appealing to me haha I know this is not good )to cope with my stress ..however, i try to go with black chocolates mostly instead of milk chocolates because that's healthier ? haha

UFGator Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 I take out all my stress at the gym. Squats and deadlifts yo
Amalia222 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Best de-stress chocolate fix EVER: Freeze a three-musketeers. Open package. Eat while watching The Bachelor. AWESOME!!! Moxie42 and mooncake88 2
books Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Frozen three musketeers are lovely, but I would substitute The Bachelor for True Blood or an old movie. Moxie42 1
jergensultrahealing Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 I like to eat those veggie salad trays from the grocery store. You know, the ones that come with carrots, celery, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, etc. along with a dip in the middle... Those are yummy and healthier alternatives than chocolates (unless you're talking about serious cocoa, dark chocolate).
Coyolxauhqui Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Ditto on True Blood. I can't wait for the new season to start. Oh and who can live without strawberry Häagen-Dazs? Not me. It is the only thing that gets me through this terrible waiting period. Frozen three musketeers are lovely, but I would substitute The Bachelor for True Blood or an old movie.

HyacinthMacaw Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 And this is why I dislike you All I want to do is curl up in a ball in bed with mindless television and a pint of ben & jerrys Sounds good--Jamaican me crazy, mon! But honestly I would spend my $2.49 on a towering spiral of smooth and creamy soft serve vanilla ice cream. With rainbow sprinkles. Either way you satisfy your sweet tooth!
lechatgris Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 I think somebody drank all my wine . . .
dlb89 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Chocolate is delicious, but I have this insatiable craving for really sugary cereal. Cinnamon Toast Crunch, French Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, REESES PUFFS, Honey Nut Cheerios...I am literally drooling just thinking about them. This application period, I sadly average 5 + bowls per day of this addictive crack-food. HyacinthMacaw 1
skeedy Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 I think somebody drank all my wine . . . My bad. Mine seemed to go missing as well.
kotov Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 I drink that red label, dawg. Always make sure I pour some on the curb for my rejected homies though.
