Here's another spreadsheet where you can email to have your info added/updated. It's fairly comprehensive. Also, note the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet, which also contain information for 2011-2012 and 2010-2011.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AuGpbWEh-3b0dHZzTU1BN0lNLU1yeG5XWktnY2k3bmc#gid=0

Once you click on it, it should also be automatically saved to your Google Docs list. :)

I'm so sorry heyles; I know this is on the thread somewhere but I just can't muster the energy to go searching for it. What is the email that we should send information to? I want to add that I was given an interview for my Russia ETA. (HAVE NOT HEARD ABOUT ACCEPTANCE OR REJECTION YET, sorry if I freaked anyone out!)

I updated this for you. But you can email the address that's listed at the top of the google doc: fulbright2012.2013 at gmail dot com. :)

What are you apologizing for? ;) This thread is totally out of control for finding info ... I only knew about that spreadsheet because someone kept posting it, like, 20 pages ago. And then my campus FPA forwarded it to me in case I didn't know about it, which was a little weird. I hope he's not trolling this forum to see how neurotic all of us are, lol.

And like Biz just said, the email is at the top of the spreadsheet after you click the link.

Lol. I never think about the other people that could be looking at this forum. FPAs or Fulbright people especially. We must look super crazy!

I prefer "passionate." Or "goal-oriented."

Unfortunately even I know that refreshing my email multiple times a minute isn't helping me achieve my goals.

And yet I do it anyway.

I'm actually taking comfort in the fact that I won't hear for at least another two weeks (or at least, historically the earliest acceptances have gone out is two weeks from now). I was all over my email, all the time in February; now I get this period of calm, when I don't have to worry.

I guess the way I've come to think about this, is that I've done what I can do, the decision is already made. Either I got it, or I didn't (or that dreaded alternate, but I don't even want to think about that). Obsessing over it won't change the outcome, it will just make me crazy. So, calm.

Or at least, that's what I keep telling myself ;)

I am right there with you buddy! My FPA was like, "Would you rather not have been recommended??!". And I was like, okay, I need to chill, lol.

Mexico peeps, did you get this too?

"Dear xx, This email is to inform you of the final steps of the selection process for the 2012-2013 Fulbright-García Robles U.S. Student Grant. The results from the interview process that you participated in via Skype will be discussed by our Academic Committee next week. Once a final selection has been made in Mexico the results will be sent to the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in Washington D.C. for final approval. We estimate having the final results by mid- April. The Institute of International Education will contact you about you candidature as soon as the FSB gives final approval. We kindly ask that you please be patient. Saludos and all the best of luck to you, Esther M. RamosU.S. Grantee Program Officer"

Mid-April?? ARgggH! I swear they said 3/23 when I had my interview!

While it's true that historically the earliest acceptances for Russia go out two weeks from now, we're getting our notification over email rather than snail mail... so really we should be checking out postmark dates (which is still almost two weeks from now, 3/23, but minus a weekend!). Also, I'm sure it takes more time to stuff envelopes and get all of the letters ready to mail than getting emails together, so that skims off at least a day or two, right? ;)

By the way, I'm pretty sure all of the Russia finalists had an interview, it's part of the decision-making process so they can access our language skills. My interview was less than a week after receiving the finalist letter, during which they said their decisions had to be submitted to the US office by 3/1...

In good news, my husband is taking me on a beach trip for my birthday in a few days, so I'll have a distraction from my obsession soon enough!

Every time I check this forum after a couple of days and see that I have 20+ new notifications (all from this topic), I'm positive that some country has released their decisions and several members are celebrating. Alas that only two of us have heard anything yet and the rest of us are just killing time! Hang in there, everybody :)

Bad dream again, this time at 6:45 am. I check my iPhone for emails and there it is: "Fulbright Application." I open it and...it's clearly not an acceptance letter, but it doesn't quite read like a rejection letter and it ends up making no sense. I wake up feeling queasy.

You know, at this point, I don't care what I get now. I just want this goddamned process to be over. I want to move on with my fucking life.

First time poster...I was at my parents' house for a few days last week and spent a lot of time sitting on their front porch waiting for the mail to come. I was glad to see here about the email notifications because now I can just compulsively refresh my email instead.

i haven't read that far back in the posts but i saw some other applicants for countries in the Balkans. I was recommended for an ETA to Bosnia, btw.

Good luck to everyone!

Yup, I'm aware that all Russia applicants have an interview. However, I figured it will be useful for next year's applicants to have as much information as possible, just like I appreciated finding any information I could from previous years. Hence, why I requested to add my interview to the spreadsheet.

And yeah, I went off the postmark dates as well. Last year's letters were postmarked considerably later than the year before (around 4/9, if I'm not mistaken), so I'm going to go ahead and figure that it will be at least two weeks. To be honest, I'm not all that anxious about it. You may be right that not stuffing envelopes and such will skim off a few days, but since we have no way of knowing that beforehand, I'm not really going to sweat it.
