University of Toronto, McGill, UBC, University of Alberta, Waterloo... the list could go on and on. Do some research yourself based on what you want to study. Find professors who do research that interests you

okie..thank you..But if you were to choose any 4 then what would have been your choices..I am going through the websites regularly but i also want to make sure that i dont end up getting admission in a wrong college due to lack of communication or any other inhibiting measure..So just being a bit wary..

I'm not in Computer Science, I have no idea. I'm a Mechanical Engineer. All of the schools I already listed are some of the best engineering/tech schools in Canada.

I believe Waterloo is particularly known for its CS dept. I remember seeing lots of Waterloo students at Microsoft onsite interviews. U of Toronto is a tie or close second. McGill has a great graduate program and is generally well known around the world, however admission might be more difficult.

If you are looking purely at a CS/engineering perspective I believe Waterloo/UoT take the most research funding for those subjects in Canada

The schools ktel listed are the top CS schools in Canada. U of T is on par with a top 10 US school and the others are pretty good as well. You should consider which of them are best suited for your research interests when you decide which to apply to. Don't just look at rankings.
