Brown MA

Hello everyone, lurker here.

I've been checking the results survey for a while and I've noticed that no one has heard from Brown for the Master's program yet... It seems that the past few years admission decisions for MAs have come out at the same time as PhD decisions.

Does anyone know anything about this? Also, does anyone know if acceptance into the MA program at Brown is just as horrifyingly competitive as the PhD program?

Any feedback would be helpful!!

I am also waiting on Brown!! I tOyed with the idea of emailing, but then was wayyyy too afraid!! Any news from anyone?

Let us know if you decide to e-mail! I haven't heard from any schools yet (I only applied to MA programs this year) and Brown is the first one I'm expecting. So I'm obsessing a little.

My friend is anxiously waiting for their creative writing department to notify as well. Maybe they're exhausted from rejecting all the Lit PhD applicants.

I'm so confused about why we've had to wait this long for the MA decisions--you're totally right that they seem to have already rejected like 10000000 PhD candidates!! What's up, Brown?!

Hi everyone,

I have been accepted to the MA program at Brown. Has anyone else been accepted? It is VERY expensive and no funding...but is is Brown! What have people heard about their program?!
