YES!

Congratulations on your admission to the Woodrow Wilson School (WWS) at Princeton University.   Our admission packet with friendly propaganda will be mailed to you on Monday, March 16.  The reply deadline is Wednesday, April 15, but we recommend submitting your contract and registering for housing earlier.

Good luck to everyone else !

Does anyone know anything about funding?  I heard everyone is funded but there is no mention in my email.

Thanks to everyone on this forum who made this wait bearable!

Not a very happy feeling for sure when you get rejection from the dream schools.

Still no YES mail,no news from GSPP,rejected by HKS....

How do I react?

In despair....

Four months of hard work and wait for nothing...

Thanks to all on the forum for making the journey and wait such a learning experience.

May God bless you all...

Congrats to all who got in the dream schools...

All the best for the people who were not so lucky....Life has many good things in store for all of us.

@handiya I feel you!!

But we did our best and at the end of the day, the school that wants you is a school that fits. Feel proud of your accomplishments, that Im sure are more than plenty. Good luck to everybody!!

Thanks.

I think I shall start planning for the next year from now on.

I have been accepted in Duke, LSE, NYU and Chicago.

But feel it's not like the GSPP, Woo,orKennedy..

so I am already planning on giving it a more try next year and then see where do I fit in.

I just want to say for those that are still waiting that I didn't receive my acceptance until 45 minutes AFTER everyone else last year. I was convinced I got turned down, but I think they were just moving through the applicants alphabetically.

Hi Go to school,

Are we talking about the YES mail here or you didn't get the mail and were officially notified directly after 45minutes of the rest?

I wish I wouldn't have opened this forum today. Seeing others get a notification is just the worst.

I am completely useless at work right now.

I know!!! Me too. I thought decisions were going to be sent on Friday.

I feel so grateful for the acceptance letters I've received already, but can't help feeling a bit down about not hearing back from WWS. It's my favorite program and would be my only rejection. Such is life!

Wrote a sad post about how I wish they would send a rejection already - then it magically appeared in my inbox. Better than the ambiguity I guess.

Congrats to those admitted!

Also rejected. If it makes anyone feel better, I visited Princeton and did not feel the concepts being taught were only within the reach of those admitted--I held my own. A WWS rejection is primarily a consequence of such a large volume of qualified applicants who all want a prestigious degree for free.

Looks like I'll be changing the world from elsewhere! :)

I was talking about the email.  I did receive it eventually it just took a little while. Looks like they've already started sending out the "No" letters, so soon enough folks should know one way or the other.

Rejected too!!

I know I just wrote about being bummed, but now that I have a concrete answer I'm feeling, may I say, EXCITED

WWS was one of my top 3 for sure, and primarily because of the hefty financial aid package, but I did have doubts that the curriculum was aligned with my research interests and values. I earn less than 30K a year so a full ride was mighty attractive.

But now that it's not an option, I'm excited to explore the other schools that did offer me admissions and very concretely and realistically pick a school that is the best fit for me. That's exciting!!

GET EXCITED PEOPLE!

First Rejection!

My GRE and GPA were within or above the average for admitted students, but I don't think my sop or policy memos were very strong for them. Moreover, not sure my regional studies interest was ever a great fit to begin with. But I had to apply out of curiosity :)

Congrats to everyone who made the cut!!

I was rejected as well. Not surprised, it was a long shot for sure. First school to ever reject me, but it is Princeton. I'd rather live in Seattle or Austin than Jersey anyways, haha! But congrats to all those accepted!
