I would also love to hear! I'm trying to get info on where most clinicals are and how livable Pocatello is...

I went to 5th grade in Pocatello and as a child I loved it. I had family who lived there. It is cold in the winter though. I also applied to Idaho State, the online program though. I was waitlisted. Hoping to get in though. It is my first choice school.

Sorry I couldn't be more help!

How do you know you were waitlisted? I haven't heard anything from them. How did you receive your admission status?

I saw that people were posting that they were accepted so I emailed Lexie to ask her if the decisions were sent out for all the programs or just for on campus. When she replied she told me that I was waitlisted. I also received a general email stating that the first round of admissions had gone out and that we would be hearing more by the 15th. The admission offers went out around the first by email. The rest of us will be receiving a letter in the mail. It is my first choice school so I am hoping to get in off the waitlist. :)

I was just accepted off of the waitlist yesterday, and am planning on attending. I'm familiar with Pocatello and the surrounding area. Excited to have an acceptance.

Looks like we'll be classmates :)

My professors speak highly of Idaho State's program. They have a large faculty and are continuing to expand the program. Half the students attend the Meridian Campus, while half attend the Pocatello campus. Same with the professors. You take the classes together but that means half of your classes are "distance" via video. The professors who aren't on your campus do come and visit though.

Has anyone on the wait list received any news lately??

I was just offered a spot off the waitlist but will be declining because it is just too expensive to attend. Hope this helps someone else!!

I do not know if you know this, but if you do live in Washington you would get in state tuition at Idaho state because of the western regional program.

I did not know that. Now I am torn between this and minot state. I like that minot is only 5 semesters and I wouldn't have to take any pre reqs where I would have to at idaho and they are 6 semesters. However idaho is a lot closer to me. Ahh I don't know what to do!!

Hi,

I was wondering, KellyyyB22 did you decide on Minot or Idaho State University? I'm looking at ISU's pre-professional online program (my CSD degree is too old so I need to retake courses also) and questioning the expense.

Post was five years ago, not likely that the person will respond.
