  1. Hi, I hope you all see this one year later! I am looking at grad schools for SLP and Pacific University has been recommended to me by three different people. How has your first year been going at Pacific University with COVID regulations? Do they have a solid online program now? Are you in clinic? Do you feel like you're getting your moneys worth through your experience there? It is an expensive university and I keep doubting whether I should apply or not. Thank you, Happy studies
  2. I had reached out to texas women's university and got a response that their program is not a fully online program and you must live within commuting distance to texas or in texas. which kind of bummed me out. if you are in that area, it's a great program! especially because you'll get some financial forgiveness if you continue to work in public school districts in texas. that is all found out through individual public school districts, not the texas women's university.
  3. How are you liking the program? I'm considering the part-time summer program, which I know may not be the one you're in. I'm an out-of-state student and tuition is my number 1 incentive to programs. As well as the school being COVID safe and requiring people to wear masks.
  4. If you're asking about post-bacclaurete, you will need to take out private loans. I am in the same boat. I am currently a post-bacc student and was told that I was close to maxing out on my stafford subsidized and unsubsidized loans. At the idaho state university post-bacc program, you cannot qualify for any scholarships while in this for speech therapy. i'm budgeting the end of my UNDERgrad student loans for the current post-bacc program. I hope this helps. once you get into grad school, you'll have access to more loans. but the post bacc is an undergrad degree. the system is so screwed up that they let 17 year old me take out loans. ugh.
  5. "Too loud - noise meter & timer" It has a visual, but if you speak louder than the setting (which is adjustable with free version) the app makes a glass breaking sound.
  6. Hi, I was wondering, KellyyyB22 did you decide on Minot or Idaho State University? I'm looking at ISU's pre-professional online program (my CSD degree is too old so I need to retake courses also) and questioning the expense.
