UNC Chapel Hill Biomedical Sciences

I applied to UNC Chapel Hill Biomedical Sciences Ph. D program. I haven't heard anything yet from bbsp (neither good nor bad), yet. I am very very nervous a time passes. I thought this could be a good platform to share updates with each other. Anybody heard anything?

Okay I considered Chapel Hill last year and then I found out they don't have nuclear engineering program. In case you find yourself wondering when the decisions will be made all day, you can go to the result search and see when the first round of admissions came in the previous years. I found out about one of the schools I applied near the new year's eve, and yesterday I got my first result from that same school. What I hear from my friends in the US is that many schools have started to send out the first round of admissions, so go check it out. The good news may come as a surprise.

I heard back from UNC right before the holidays - December 22 I believe. But, I'm pretty sure they're slowly trickling in. 

 

**EDIT** Also - the office has yet to get back to me about any travel information, whereas most other programs got back to me right away.  I think that maybe they are still getting back to applicants.

Congrats! Obviously, I am not invited for the first round of the interviews. Still hoping to hear good news. Maybe I will hear from them at the last minute

Sorry maybe I wasn't clear - I think they are still offering the interviews out! There are a ton of weekends (I needed to change my interview date and they offered me basically any weekend in February) so I believe they're having a visiting weekend every weekend in February. Nothing is scheduled yet either, so I think its still in the 'planning' stages! YOU GOT THIS
