Drink hot honey lemon water, increase vitamins and supplements (coconut oil, echinacea, vitamin C and garlic are all good ones).

Two weeks is plenty of time to bounce back. But if you feel like crud the day before (or the day before you leave if travel is involved) go to the doctor and puppy dog eye them into giving you a steroid shot.

Also sleep.

Do nothing. Colds don't last that long. Or do lots of things and get better in the same amount of time and then blame your "cure" on all the crap you took, like a normal person. Either way, you should be fine.

Drinking hot tea every day helps me a lot. I've been able to combat colds within a week or a week and a half by doing this. And as others have suggested, drink plenty of water too.

Feel better! I got sick in the middle of my interview travels. Honestly, inevitable because of the perfect storm of plane germs, drastic temperature changes, and stress, but it still sucks. I've been struggling through my interviews as best as possible. Two weeks should be plenty of time to feel better, though!

wow guys, you are so helpful! thanks a lot!

@GunningForGrad I started hot honey lemon water treatment yesterday. So far it hasn't got worse but my throat is still itchy, so I am not sure if it's working or it's prolonging the process.
