Super formal... I think it will be better to overdress than underdress when they do not tell you what to wear.

Good news. I heard there will most likely be a tour of the campus which means that the interview (grill session) isn't technically 4 hours long. :)

I was relieved so I just had to share, because I am sure people are stressing!! I feel like a tour could take up to an hour, right?? plus with the breaks, it doesn't seem like it'll just be a question session for hours.

How are you studying?

My professor suggested me to look over the practice questions for praxis. But finals are coming up and I just don't have the time to look over them... Most likely won't be prepared. How about you?

I feel, which I could be wrong, but it's going to be hypothetical questions, so it's like how can you prepare for the big picture? I am studying tonight and will probably look over anatomy because I lack in that area :P

I interviewed for Fall 2016 it really was not bad or scary even if the format is different don't worry guys.

When I went we had a mock lecture then were given a pop quiz to see if we absorbed the info quickly it was a new topic so ppl wouldn't have an advantage over others.

For the individual we worked as a group to determine what communication impairment a fake client had then we went into an individual room and were asked to present the findings/ recommendations as if we were speaking to the child's parent.  So obviously people skills as well as clinical knowledge being tested.  It was basic you are not doing a differential aphasia dx the kid had a very obvious impairment.

There was one more component that I don't remember.  I didn't go there so don't have any more recent info but good luck everyone!
