Me too! Let´s use skype to harrass them or we can do the RAT thing and spy on them for the next year or two....or we might just wait...I´m sure we will learn soon enough plus we are all already into other great places so it will be fine (will not prevent me for waking up at 4 am and logging into my account...but still)

Nothing is on mine, no email and I just logged on and nothing, maybe because I said I didn´t mind where my first yr was...

Im just surprised as both of you got into really great places (congrats for that) maybe you were too good! I mean seriously a lot of people I know got rejected from berkeley and Duke so might just be something weird. I don´t know what courses constitute as "gov" Im an econ major and took some pol sci but not many (probably around 6 but that included internships and stuff)....who knows, well at least you got into awesome places

Most MPPs don't require macro only micro plus to take more advanced ckasses you can just pass an exam, so I would just retake it for undergrad

One thing though, I was admitted to LBJ where they do give their best fellowship students money to travel (which I was) but as I am international they will not cover it, even though my flight was only 210 dollars, so you might not get it!

I recommend it I went to school in the US for undergrad and as I studied in India it was impossible to do it (due to exam scheduling). I will not say I was disappointed and i got a great education but I would have chosen a different school! Now a days I am doing it (granted I live in Latin America, which makes it at most a 5 hour plane ride to my farthest away school) and Easter vacations plus other national holidays help. But I would say if you are going to invest a lot of money plus two years of your life, the 1k dollars and ten days off are worth it!

I just realized I got 10k per year the two semester thing confused me I still need 5 k more at least, but much better

Really I emailed them, as international I can´t even ask for a loan so I explained my situation, I can afford 40+ k per year just not 60 K... maybe it will work, maybe it will not!
