You know, I am kind of nervous about finding out now. It feels like an eternity ago that I applied for this thing. And knowing that the subject line gives away the answer. Whew! I may faint!
Working in politics gives you skills. Lol!! Nah, it was easy, all the main folks are listed on the embassy website. Not that this info does me any good at all.
So, the countries that don't have actual committees the applications are processed by the public relations person at the embassy. I was doing a little investigating today. I figured out who this woman is that still has my application sitting on her desk. Lol!!
Welcome friend! Congratulations on your grant!! See...we have nothing to worry about. *insert the Jedi mind trick*
It was a fruitful day for Fulbrighters, but a sad day for our nation. I echo the prayers for those in Boston.
It changes every time I go back that way. I don't make it over there much. I think you are on the right track with the Boone Pickens' influence. I grew up around the Little Rock area. Most of my family is still there, except for my dad and step-mom who live in Australia.
Hey! I'm around the Tulsa area. I am not a native (I grew up in Arkansas) but I have been here about 16 years. I also got my BA from OSU. Go Pokes! It's probably about the same here.
Glad you enjoyed the coffee. That secret menu is really cool!
It's Monday, and Tax Day, how about some good Fulbright news today? Here's to "wishin' and hopin'!
I have talked to the lady at the high school there, but it is all hypothetical until I know about the grant. They are really nice, though, and have been very helpful. Since Estonia ranks above the US in many educational categories (including STEM) it will be a big change for my son. Lol!
