  1. Slack GroupMe Google sheet chat There's also a facebook group, although I'm not in it, and the subreddit, which is much less active.
  2. For those who aren't on the other platforms, France, Cyprus, and India have posted.
  3. Someone just posted a finalist notification for a community-based combined grant in Austria!

  5. You don't need permission to edit the notifications tab, and you can add to the chat once you get down to the current conversations (currently around row 2000).
  6. You can find all the historical final notification dates, this year's applicants, and a chat thread in this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Cd86U9AreH9k_-WKLKnLCLn_C5MC3FKvZZ9RhlqSAq4/edit#gid=2001832949 Feel free to add yourself to this year's tab!
  7. Remember that not getting an email just means that they got your transcript and processed it right the first time!
  8. Gotta have backups of our backups!
  9. I'm making a copy of it now, so at least we'll have one we can keep clean. I'll play with permissions and see what the options are.
  10. They just did it again. Who actually owns the document? Perhaps we should just lock it.
  11. I'm restoring it again, but it'll be a recurring problem now that someone's figured out they can do this (and that we'll react).
  12. There's been some discussion of this reddit post on the spreadsheet chat. It sounds like the significance of it might be overblown -- some Fulbright advisors have told their applicants that this won't actually affect notification dates this year. I figured I'd post it here anyway, since there's a troll in the spreadsheet deleting the link.
  13. Update for those of us with missing degrees on print transcripts: I called just now, and I didn't have to wait at all for a real person. (I heard that earlier the lines were super busy.) The lady I spoke with was able to look up my transcript and verify the missing degree, and I don't have to send anything in. I sent an email two days ago and still haven't gotten a response, but this was very quick and easy.
  14. Yes, there are a few of us over on the spreadsheet chat who got that email. From all of our cases, it sounds like it's probably an administrative error. I've emailed my Fulbright advisor and responded to the email. My advisor's advice was to get in touch with them immediately, and if I don't hear anything soon, she'll get in touch with them. Edited to add that it sounds like Fulbright's just now processing transcripts. Some people who sent electronically through their transcript companies got emails that the links had expired since they'd been sent.
