Magoosh's math techniques and questions helped me greatly. Much like you, I've been away from academics for about 7 years now. So preparing for GRE wasn't easy. You heard right. Apart from ID document(s) and snacks, you cannot take anything into the test centre. I should mention: mine was a Prometric Centre. Don't know if the restrictions are the same for others.

First off, best of luck to both of you on test day! I hope you get the scores you need and want! @antigone56: I can relate to what you've said about not employing any particular strategy for RC questions. My test prep wasn't too organised or well-planned, so the Verbal section on test day was a bit of a wild ride, in a manner of speaking . But thankfully it turned out fine for me. I'm sure you'll do well, too. @obviousbicycle: My practice scores were also all over the place. Its never easy to assess where u stand while going through practice tests/questions. But don't fret, just step up your game on Saturday!
