Hello! I just received my acceptance into CSU Sacramento for Fall of 2014. I will be going into the Public Policy and Administration program. I live in Citrus Heights, and work in Folsom. Looking forward to meeting other new graduate students.

Well, I did it!!! I got a phone call yesterday and was offered admission to the Masters program of my choice! SOOO excited!

Haha, thank's for the laugh. I haven't decided to "grow up" yet. But yes, you do qualify. I am 38, and will graduate in March with my BA. I am married, with an 19 yr old son in the Navy.

Nice to see all of you on this thread!!! I didn't know when I created it how many people would respond. It's nice to know I am not alone! I am playing the waiting game. I applied Oct. 1st, and it's pending department approval. Not sure what that means. I am guessing they still need to review my application, and approve me for admission status? Hope all of you are well this holiday season.

I's right there with you all. I just took the GRE and I feel very discouraged because I didn't do so well. Although the advisor told me not to worry so much about the GRE, because they do look at other things, I am still worry about getting admitted. It's so nerve wracking!

I have applied to Sacramento State for their MPPA program, fall 2014. Everything is in, except my GRE scores. Luckily I have some time, but I just registered for the GRE, and will take it Nov 7th. I am a bit nervous... I've ben studying for it, but I feel that I don't have that big of a grasp. Anyone else that went through the same thing? Thanks.

I give you kudos for being able to have a working marriage while living apart to achieve your goals. I imagine that it is hard for you both. Hopefully in the long run, it will allow you to have the life you want to live when you are completed with your education. Good luck!

Finally have study time available this weekend. Between homework for two classes, studying for the GRE and now my new work in legislation.... I am a busy woman....

Thank you!! I have no idea why I was having such trouble with that one. That makes sense now just by looking at it... I feel silly knowing how simple it was.

I am studying the QR section of my Kaplan book. So far I am doing okay... but I have come across this problem, and the explanation that the book gives is a little vague, or I am just not seeing it. (I haven't had a math class in over 10 years... so I apologize if it's a little silly...) The question reads: q,r, and s are positive numbers; qrs > 12 Quantity A Quantity B qr 3 5 s A. Quantity A is greater B. Quantity B is greater C. The two quantities are equal D. The relationship cannot be determine from the information given (correct answer) If anyone is willing to help me learn how to determine this answer, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Well so many things are happening at once... I am feeling so overwhelmed! My son has sworn into the Navy this morning and leaves immediately for bootcamp. (I am VERY proud!). I also start two lower division classes next Monday, then my 3 online BA degree classes at the end of Sept. All while trying to keep up with the studying of the GRE. I have 2 LoRs in hand now, and need only one more. So I am nearly ready! I just wish I had a study buddy... or even a venting buddy. My husband is helping me as much as he can, but I still feel "alone" at times.

Such a stressful week this past week. Several emotional days coming up. Gotta get back into studying for the GRE AND my classes starting up again for Fall. So much going on at once... wish I had a good friend to turn to.

Have any of you already applied? What part of the process are you in? I have my application put together (most of it) and I am studying for the GRE test now... hoping to take it the beginning of November.

I am still studying the flashcards. I've taken a couple of "practice" tests but quickly feel discouraged because I am no where near where I want to be.
But I was assuming your decision would've been done n dusted by now?
