  1. Regretting like crazy right now, but there are only a few(3-4) professors in the US who specialize in what I want to research. (I only applied to two programs.)
  2. There are so many individuals with Pokemon avatars. I like you all.

Oh it makes sense now :x

Might have to set my avatar...

      I need to set mine.

@GeoDude: That's pretty sweet (and appropriate).

  3. I hope the storms relax a bit and move over to the west coast. We need it, and I want to hear back from the schools I applied to.

Not a nice wish! How about hoping the storms just move into the Atlantic and dissolve? :/

Seriously. And the weather here is like it was in summer. Rain and snow, please send some to the west coast.

  4. I applied to UNE for marine sciences too. I already talked to my prospective PI over the phone before I applied, so if I did get past the first round, she probably won't be interviewing me. I haven't heard anything yet though. Keeping my fingers crossed.
  5. I only applied to two too. You're not alone. I already see some people from that University on the results page being offered phone interviews...
  6. Checking the results and trying to find a job. None of it is helping.
  7. I'm having the same issues here with this prompt. I'm so glad I'm not alone (just found this thread). Honestly, I'm unsure about whether or not I should be more strongly addressing why I want to go to UMich or my entire struggle into going into my desired field, because that story is pretty anti-climatic and timeworn.
