Did anyone get an official offer from GPS? I received an acceptance from the department but I still don't have an official one from McGill

Teachers College, Columbia is known to have high acceptance rate and they do not have minimum GPA requirement. Application is still open for admission (rolling) http://www.tc.columbia.edu/its/Anthro/

Since I do not speak french, I did not look into Quebec, but you can definitely practice as clinical counsellor in BC if you take the right courses

If you want to gain clinical or more applicable side of experience out of this degree, I would not suggest Learning Science because that deals with artificial learning and environment (more pure research based). If you have time, maybe it would be a good idea to have a meeting with the program coordinator or stream rep professors. I am going into general ed psyc since that gives me more flexibility

are you going into project based or course based? If you are going into a project based program, then you should definitely consider which profs are available and if you are doing course based program, you might want the flexibility so you can take the courses that you need for your next step (phd studies or professional development)

She clearly has some major issues. I hope your other offer was better than this one because I would hate to see your years of hard work suffering for the next few years under this evil prof. I would not work with her. Grad school is more about the research fit and supervisor so I hope it all works out !!

I do not understand why I still haven't received anything from OISE yet Maybe its because I put Dev Psyc as my second choice. Anyone received rejection letter for Dev Psyc or Counseling Psyc MEd?

In some provinces, you only need master's degree to practice as a psychologist. If you take all the required courses suggested by the regulatory group of each province, you would be able to qualify as an educational psychologist. That was my original plan but I STILL HAVE NO IDEA IF I GOT IN OR NOT. Today was supposed to be the decision day.... what is happening :s

The department said that if we haven't heard back from OISE, that means we are rejected. They sent out all the offers and processing rejections atm

Hello RRBrittany, I did not apply to MSW program at McGill. I applied to a psyc program, but good luck though !
