Do you have any fave STS texts? Who should I be reading once I finish Haraway? I need to play catch up since I've been out of the game for a few years. I didnt even know STS existed during my undergrad.

It's the POI I've chatted with the most and have gotten a very positive vibe from. I could still get rejected by the school so I'm not trying to read to much into it. I don't really know how admissions decisions are made but I imagine that it requires thumbs up from multiple voices.

I think they might be seen as pushy but that's based on my particular correspondences I don't think it applies universally.

I've been told that fellowships in the UC system are often tied to GRE scores. If I end up at one of the UCs I assume I will be TAing rather than receiving a fancy fellowship. My Quant was terrible.
