Oh and I didn't specifically here this from them, but for the last two years they haven't sent out decisions until the end of March. This is according to the results page on here anyways... -

No, I was actually asked that question as well, but I meant content in terms of quizzing us on anatomy/phonetics questions. One of my friends interviewed at a school where they asked her questions about manner, place, and voicing. -
Oh man, I hope so!! I can't take much more of this waiting. I basically hate weekends now. Lol

I'm sure you did fine! :-) I'm just glad they didn't ask any content based questions. -
Lmao That's the spirit!! I too am still waiting around so I feel your pain.

Another day annnnnd nothing. So far I've only gotten one rejection from NYU and I haven't heard jack from any of the west coast schools. I was convinced I would hear something back today!! :-(

I felt like mine went pretty well, but who knows? I felt like they were super friendly and personable so that definitely put me at ease. How did everyone else do? -
cheaper program vs. better program
Holly44 replied to rickthesheriff's topic in Speech-Language Pathology Forum
That would definitely concern me as well. I spent a lot of time researching graduation and employment after graduation stats before I applied because I feel like it is imperative to know when choosing a program. The fact that it has been a low rate three years in a row is something I would investigate. Maybe you can contact previous students/recent grads and get their take on the matter. -
Seriously!! I can't wait another long and torturous weekend. I'm praying the west coast schools get a move on and start sending out decisions tomorrow.

Me!! I hate doing interviews, but it's only 15 minutes so it will be over before we know it!! Good luck! -

OMG, congrats!! Kudos to you for sticking with it and applying again this year! Btw, I noticed that you also applied to UO and WW. Have you heard anything from them at all? I'm so antsy over here waiting for an email, phone call, anything!!

Lmao that's hilarious. Glad you're ok, but I could totally see myself doing that. God, these applications are making all of us crazy!!

"Soft rejections?" (still haven't heard anything)

Meaning that they don't send them out all at once. -

New York/New Jersey Schools Fall 2015

Looks like NYU is sending out a bunch of rejections and waitlist spots today. I still haven't heard anything so no news is good news at this point. -
Thanks so much for the support and congrats on getting into CSUN's program. One of the girls from my post-bacc cohort was accepted into the online program there as well and she's super excited about it. Good luck with everything to you as well.

Embarrassingly low GPA, I don't know what to do...
Holly44 replied to TTUGrad2013's topic in Speech-Language Pathology Forum
Keep your head up! You have great GRE scores, a new and improved GPA (that definitely matters), and a bunch of relevant field experience. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that everything works out! -
I actually think it's nice that they follow up with wait-list candidates to confirm their interest b/c it will help people like you who really want to go there.

I didn't apply to northwestern, but I'm curious as to what is considered pricey. Is it comparable to NYU tuition or is it even more?
