Does anyone else find it disheartening/absurd that 3.1 is considered embarrassingly low? (It's not, for the record.) When did B's become death for students? In my post-bacc, we would all freak out when we got a B+ on something because we needed A's and it makes me sad that this is what school has become.

I wonder when NYU is going to send out the rest of their admissions decisions?! I hate that they do it in waves!

haha I check my email late at night and on the weekends even though I know nothing is going to be there. I've somehow convinced myself that it's possible to get an acceptance email at 2am. lmao

From what I have seen, most schools send out rejections at the same time. So if you've seen a bunch of people posting about rejections and/or acceptances, it could be possible that you're on a list. It wouldn't hurt to call your program and ask.

You guys, we did it. We made it to March!! I'm ready for all of the acceptances to start rolling in now!!

I would definitely become proficient in another language whether that be Spanish, asl, etc. Being bilingual is a major plus in the professional world.

Oh man, I could write a book! Lol I was suuuuuper organized and still made mistakes. For one of my schools I didn't pay attention to the word limit and I submitted a letter of intent that was nearly three times longer than what they asked. At another school I didn't send in my official transcripts b/c I had already uploaded them and didn't know we had to do both. You're not alone, trust me!!! Haha

Do public libraries usually have good internet connections? And most universities require that you be a student there to rent rooms or I would totally do that. Hmm, maybe it would just be easier to go to a friend's house or something. Thanks for the suggestions guys!!

Hey guys! Ok, so I have a skype interview next week and have never done one before. I unfortunately don't have accessible wifi at my house so I was thinking of maybe going to a starbucks or something to do the interview. Would this look unprofessional? I just don't want to be screwed because my connection causes a lag in the video feed.

Don't you guys wish we could just get one email containing ALL of the decisions from our prospective schools at once? Kinda like ripping off a bandaid!

Yay! Congrats to those who have gotten acceptances!! Question, when you guys log in to your applications, what does it say? Mine all simply say submitted (even those I've been interviewed with) which is annoying and doesn't tell me anything! haha Would it kill them to write under review or something?
