C'mon. This is just a humble-brag disguised as a naive question about the adequacy of qualifications. You're fine.

I've declined my Texas - Austin, and, Stony Brook offers. Hope that this allows someone to receive a last minute offer.
People might think I am a bit crazy on the SB choice, but they seriously need to improve the stipend....that'd be too stressful for me. Plus, I really liked my visit to UVA and think that it will be great fit.
Regardless, it's the 15th at last! Woohoo! Congrats to everyone who got in this cycle

Admitted at Stony Brook. Lots of 11th hour action for me

I'll be doing some math work in the summer as well, will probably do an online calc course. I definitely need a refresher, as the last time I did calculus was senior year of high school.

In general, yes, if only because it's an appropriate level of abstraction and provides the fundamentals you need. The more comfortable you are with differentiation and integrals, the easier most of what you see in a standard first-year sequence will be. Of course, the list of math "wants" is long and in a perfect world you'd find time to take a good linear algebra course too.
I am old fogey on this point and can't imagine learning anything, let alone math, from an online course. But if it works for you, sure. But if you're serious about learning it, you need to make sure you're solving problems by hand yourself. So, for my money, a good workbook would be far more useful.

Your professors (and DGS) have email addresses precisely so that you can ask them this type of question, as opposed to entrusting it to strangers on the internet who know nothing about norms and policies at your school.

Accepted into UVA off of the wait list in IR!!!!!! Unofficial email from the DGS last night. I'd been in contact with the department and they said they had more than one IR spot to fill, so don't lose hope.

Good conversation going on above!
Just wanted to let everyone know that I have been admitted to UT-Austin as of early this a.m.

Visited Bloomington this Monday, great experience. Meet with professors with shared interests from Political Science, Literature, Cultural Study, and even Geography Departments.
Jeff Isaac is charming.
So, decision made (though still waiting for some not-so-important likely rejections).

Hopefully souwant2bcliche will hear good news from them too.

Seconded. Today's potential professors are tomorrow's search committee members and the day after that's tenure letter writers and so on. Thank them for their attention and the opportunity and keep it short.

Pretty much exactly what I have done. If you have developed any support of rapport with any professors at the school you are declining, I would send them a little personal note too, thanking them for your help and expressing regret that you won't be working with them

Nice email from LSU notifying me of an acceptance. Now if only Oklahoma and LSU could work on their funding offers..

I know from a friend who was interviewed by the Carl Albert Center fellowship that the Oklahoma department met yesterday. If I had to guess, decisions should be expected either this week or next.

I got my first admission after two months of painful waiting and anxiety. It's incredible how relieving it is.

It appears there was a Stony Brook decision, and I still have heard nothing *crickets*
In an update to this: Checked their portal, and was rejected. Expected, but couldn't send out an email? Stay classy Stony Brook.

No worries. I have been accepted to several good programs with some typos in my CV
