This is really bad for concentration. I've set up a very ambitious reading list to prepare for the Fall (please don't let it all be for naught!) and I'm already behind because I run out to the mailbox and check my email every five minutes. Oh, the agony.....
Hey ArcLight,
Thanks for this. I was wondering if you might have any further info on Temple, such as when acceptances went out and if they went out in one fell swoop.... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hey, many thanks for your response! It's been a rough day, what, with the Yale rejections and all.... Can I ask what your subfield is? Of course, PM me if you would prefer.
Oh my god.... That's amazing!!!!! Is there any coffee left within a 50 mile radius of you? If you adjust for weekdays/weekends, it looks like we are right in the thick of it.
I just remembered how abominable/non-existent my Excel skills are.
Yeah, me too...... I read my writing sample last night for the first time in months and that made me feel a little more confident, but I really need a positive and concrete response from just one of my programs. Sigh.
Oh, AFB I'm so sorry. That's terrible. If it has to be next year we'll be right here to help you put together an indisputably awesome app. You can be next year's TMP!
Yeah, I like this actual chit-chatting thing!! I'm stuffed with lamb and parsnip mash and now we're going home to devour a chocolate cake and watch a bad 80s comedy. Let the application stress dissipate until morning........
There is no way to describe the intense anxiety, fear, nervousness, and impatience that I am mired down in. I hate junk mail - so much. I kinda want to go pay little kids in the village to call departments and see where they are in the process.
That's an interesting twist on the idea of "fit." It can be as much about what they lack as it is what their strengths are. What a wacky process. Congrats Safferz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
