  1. UW Eau Claire Online: https://www.facebook.com/groups/569388359884460/
  2. A 3D program may not be "as good" for you, but you are not the one accrediting the schools, so there's really no way to say if one school is better than another just solely based on mode of learning.
  3. Oh that doesn't sound like a fun situation! No, I'm taking voice and resonance and phonology this semester. Fluency was my favorite class by far though! Have you finished with your prerequisites? If not, maybe that could be the reason you're getting rejections.
  4. Since you are taking online classes at UWEC have you considered applying to their online grad program if you don't get in this year? I have lower stats than you, and take their online post-bacc classes currently, and got accepted. I think the only reason I got accepted, was because they saw I was succeeding in their online program, when not all people are cut-out for online learning. Anyway, I hope you get in this year, it sounds like you deserve it, and you would make a great SLP!
  5. Your stats look good! As long as you spent time on your SOP and have good LOR I don't know why you wouldn't get in! Good luck!!
  6. I got accepted with an overall gpa of 2.99, but my CSD gpa is 3.83. My first degree was in vocal-performance, and I have experience working with children with autism. I got accepted at the university I'm currently taking online post-bacc classes at. It's an online grad program as well. I think I got admitted because I'm currently successful in their post-bacc program, and I had good LOR's and a good SOP (I had it looked over by a writing center). I honestly thought I would get rejected because of my overall gpa, but that's not all they look at. I focused on making all other areas of my app really great. Oh, and I had GRE scores of V:157 Q:151, so not amazing, but definitely acceptable. Good Luck!!
  7. Thank you! I'm so excited to start this journey!! Do you work along with school? I'd like to complete it in three years, and don't know if keeping my part-time job is feasible along with having a young son that is only in daycare 10 hours a week.
  8. I think you still have a chance to get in as well, if not, a wait list is a good sign for admittance next year. They must have thought you were a good fit, I think there were a lot of applications this year. Good luck!!
  9. Congratulations!! I just sent my acceptance letter as well I don't think there is a group yet, but I think you need at least one similar FB to create one. My FB is https://www.facebook.com/natashan3 You should add me!
  10. I just got my acceptance letter! I'm literally in a daze. Hopefully you will get yours soon too!!
  11. Well, I take post-bacc classes from them right now, and registration for summer classes begins February 15th. It would make sense that they would let us know before then, but who knows? I live in milwaukee, and the post takes about a day to get here, so I think I'll be one of the first to get a letter if they send them all out at the same time. I know... I'm going nuts waiting. lol.
  12. Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only one! Good luck!!
  13. Nice! Did you have an interview? How do you feel it went? They didn't ask me any personal questions, so it kind of felt off for me.
  14. Any fellow Eau Claire Distance applicants out there? What are you doing to pass the time? One professor told me we would hear back beginning of Feb, and another said by the end of Feb. Did you apply to any other programs? I applied to Idaho State, but my first choice is Eau Claire.
  15. I just had my interview with Eau-Claire, but I'm not sure when we'll hear back. One prof. told me the beginning of Feb and another said by the end of Feb. I'm from Wisconsin, and take post-bacc classes online at UWEC. I do know that you are required to come to campus for a week each summer. You have to do internships at both schools and clinical placements, and it's your responsibility to find your own placements. They don't have an option for research or a thesis either, if you are interested in that. Good Luck!! Let me know if you have any other questions.
