  1. Yes, I'm in Illinois and feeling that same disdain of having to get out of bed to deal with work/waiting/school/snow. Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without this forum.
  2. I wish that I could just be tranquilized for the next three months.
  3. I'm with @nevermind. (By the way, I am Dishsoap, I just didn't like my Facebook connected to this account). Reading through some of the profiles on this site can be depressing, and it's good to know that we are not the only small fish in the ocean. I haven't read through my applications since they've been submitted just for the sake of looking over them. The "I am agree" one I found because I was using that portion of my SoP for another application and I had copied and pasted (and fixed) it. The rest of them I didn't know were mistakes at the time. But yes, I also echo that sentiment. DO NOT READ OVER YOUR SUBMITTED APPLICATIONS.
  4. It's something you'll look back on years from now and laugh at...
  5. @Need Coffee in an IV Man, I'm so sorry to hear that. Don't beat yourself up too much.
  6. As in most admissions offers have gone out? Already?
  7. This thread is a great idea. I am thankful for: this forum, as you said. It's great to know that I'm not the only one whose sanity is questionable right now. The people who wrote my letters of recommendation. They offered suggestions on where to apply, and wished me the best. Seriously, I'm grateful for the research opportunities I've had that will help me get into grad school. I worked hard, but some of them were luck (since a lot of summer programs are crapshoots!). Also as you said, the fact that my professors critiqued my SoP and CV a hundred thousand million times. Seriously, they probably put more time into that document than I did writing it!
  8. Surely they can't expect everyone to apply to only one school. There's no way it could possibly hurt you!
