i know that cal state long beach only looks at the last 60. they require you to put your whole gpa on the admissions form, but i was told by several professors/graduate supervisors that the last 60 is the only one that matters
the acceptance letter from csulb said we needed to let them know by april 15th if we wanted to accept the offer yet, as they have "many applicants waiting to take unfilled spots". i accepted the offer a few weeks ago and have been checking my status via the applicant self service and it still says the same under review thing.
don't give up! what's your gpa if you don't mind me asking? i know long beach really only cares about the major/last 60. i got in with like a 3.4 overall gpa
i have a 3.4 undergrad gpa and a 3.75 last 60. i was accepted to csulb and was told they only care about the last 60. my gre scores were 165/155/5.5. i was an undergrad from csulb, interned in their on campus clinic, and had good relationships with the faculty there, but not much extracurricular experience otherwise.
i've only seen one other person say they got an interview with csulb (on this board), so unfortunately i don't really know what's going on there the email didn't say anything about the interview process (multiple batches or not) so i can't really answer your question, sorry! if they give us more info on saturday, i'll be sure to let you know
csulb, csuf, chico state, csula, and chapman. i know chapman held interviews a week ago, but i was never contacted. haven't heard anything from csuf/csula either. i have an interview with long beach this saturday, though. where did you apply?
hi everyone!!
what sort of content questions have you been asked during interviews? i have one next week and would like to prepare -- ive already gone through the more personal, get to know you type of questions; now id like to study more slp/content related questions! any tips/questions you've been asked are greatly appreciated
