Thanks! I'll be working with Ada Palmer, mostly covering Italian Renaissance cultural and political history. I see that you're also attending UChicago, what is your area of interest?

Going to the University of Chicago, but through their MAPSS program. They gave me a decent scholarship. Also, a POI, who I was not in contact with, sent me an email out of the blue saying that she was interested in my application and wanted to work with me. Pretty excited about that!

I don't think so. When I applied to UCLA last year, nothing ever went out all at once. I think there is still hope, so don't give up yet.

Has anybody else not heard anything from Yale? I haven't received a rejection yet, and there is nothing on the website. I think it might be because I applied to the Renaissance Studies program in conjunction with the history program, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts?

I applied to the program last year (and this year). UCLA seems to send out their acceptances around now, but staggers out their rejections. I found out that I was rejected March 6th, when almost everybody else found out in mid to late February.
