I applied to four schools...I didn't want to waste time, effort, and money on applying to a bunch that I couldn't see myself attending so I really narrowed it down. Similar to other posters, I applied to two schools that I felt very confident about and two that were considered reaches. I don't regret not applying to more, but I also knew I was picky about location of the school.

Yeah I feel like I read something that implied that's the case. I'm wondering if I should email them...

I haven't heard anything...do they let you know if you didn't get it, or just if you did?

Does anyone know if they record the virtual info sessions for SAIS? I want to listen to the financial aid one tomorrow but will be at work

Proportionally that is probably true...it's just interesting that tuition is so significantly less expensive than SAIS and MSFS, for example

One thing of interest is how much less expensive GW's tuition is compared to other schools...$10-15k less a year. Combined with a decent scholarship makes it much more affordable. Going to have a lot to think about over the next few weeks!

JK $5,000/semester, so $10k a year. Not bad but probably not enough

Just saw that...thanks! I was just trying to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything that could be delaying funding, but you're right, it says May 1.

Has anyone filled out the loan questionnaire, or is that supposed to be completed only if you plan on matriculating?

Yeah I agree. I understand if they're running behind or something, but at least give us a timeline. Keeping admitted students in the dark doesn't seem helpful to anyone...

I feel ya. But the lack of communication from GW is making those loans seem a bit less overwhelming. At least we know the number...radio silence from GW isn't helping at all.

Yeah it would be nice to have some sort of timeline on this. I'm going to be traveling soon and was hoping to have all of my options on the table beforehand.
