For industry MEng and MS is treated the same. There are schools which MEng is 2 years program and MS is 1 years (for example Harvard); so recruiters cannot know which is which unless they spend the time doing the homework (which they don't). Once you get an interview it's the performance on the interview that matters. At least in software industry, masters (sometimes even PhD's) are hired to do the same job as a bachelor, you might get 5k ~ 10k more in annual salary but that is it.
So I think for job perspective those 2 are really the same.
