Yeah, seems strange to me too. Looking back at old threads it seems there's always annoyance and impatience with their process, you'd think they would've found a new process by now- one that makes decisions faster, not slower. I'm going to DC this weekend and since I consider georgetown a super super longshot, I'm not visiting the campus, but it'd be nice to visit the other school with a commitment to attend.

I'm 20, turning 21 in November & starting a master's program in August- generally I got through college on @MinaminoTeku's first point & the fact people don't know, but that got harder when everybody turned 21 and I had to explain why I couldn't go out. I drink but I don't have a fake ID, I feel like I'll be outed pretty quickly. But @kit2138, you're not alone.

It just ended but it was one of the virtual events listed on the fb page & emailed out yesterday! I think they're doing the same one again in a few weeks.

@the99 there was an online chat today (actually still going on) and they said if you received merit aid, it was in the original acceptance letter- but very few students receive aid, unfortunately. Congrats on your acceptance!

Same! I'm applying straight from undergrad so it's a super long shot but I don't want to accept an offer until I know for sure.

Well, from the SSP thread it looks like they were told first week of April, but at least some decisions went out today...
-
Damn, last week of March?? I was hoping this Friday since they were released last year on the 18th...

I think I'm a bit disillusioned when it comes to loans- so many people owe so much that student loans have started to seem inevitable, not like a car payment or mortgage. I'll be looking at $100k in money I don't have, though fortunately my parents may be able to help me out (mostly by loaning me their own money which I can repay them without interest/fees) and even though $100,000 is a whole lot of money, I'm leaving undergrad debt free and I'm hoping to work in the private sector at least until the end of the trump administration (and then take that pay cut to work in government). So, I'm not really in a position to say what's worth it for you, but in my opinion if you make the most out of your two years, the added value in the job market should make it worth the money in the long term. But I'm a fresh college grad with no spouse, kids, any other financial obligations, so savings aren't as important to me as they probably are for others.

I know in past years they've sent decisions over the course of several days/weeks! Good luck!

my decision was posted! In with 4 credits of tuition remission per year, total of just over $13,000. Hard decisions lie ahead- that's about $20,000 more than LSE but it's in DC and a little more specific to my career goals.

I haven't gotten an email yet but my decision was posted, not sure if they all have been!

Blog says they'll be out by 3 pm EST! I love how transparent they are about the process, I've been refreshing my AU page for a week now and still have no clue when they'll be out.

I'm desperately hoping for today, I called on Wednesday and they just said "within the next few weeks at the very very latest." It seems like in past years they rolled out decisions over several weeks so I'm thinking the first batch of decisions will be tonight.

Assuming no decisions today? It looks like last year they started sending them the first Friday of March, so I was hopeful but nothing yet.
