I was waitlisted last year for 2 schools and was not notified. I found out by contacting the program coordinator.

I had an interview with my dream school and POI Feb 1.. She said she submitted my name for acceptance but ultimately I need to get through ad comm.. She emphasized how competitive selection was, how the decision is now out of her control and said *FINGERS CROSSED*. ughh... why does this process seem like it's pure luck sometimes?

Hey! Many universities still consider 4 courses a full course load. To give some perspective, I enrolled in 3 courses per semester for my last year (took an extra year) to complete psychology prerequisites. They were counted towards my GPA and I've been accepted to a clinical program for Fall 2019. I don't think it will hurt you. It is really important to have clinical/research experience, so if you think this is the way to get it, go for it.

FYI - Some adult neuropsych applications at York are now being reviewed if you haven't heard back. Just received an e-mail to chat. I Wouldn't consider it an interview at this point since it's only to discuss future directions

I can relate to this. This is my second time applying. It's a humbling experience haha.

My schedule actually includes a POI I didn’t apply with ... it might be because my POI is on sabbatical so she arranged for me to see someone else? Idk haha.

Well it says from 1:00-5:00pm is interviews and lab tours lol!! Sorry, maybe it's more casual than I'm interpreting it hahaha.

It's pretty detailed! It's just a lot of interviews compared to McGill haha.
