  1. So I can't sign in to SGS to check my status with Munk. I am 100% sure I am putting my info in correctly. It just says "log-in failed"
  2. Not to Munk, no. I needed one unofficial from BU (where I did my undergrad) and one from the school I went to on exchange. But they accepted PDFs for both.
  3. Mine still says under review too. But this is a good sign for us all - I think it pretty well confirms decisions will be out tomorrow.
  4. Depends what you're passionate about, really. You will probably have better raw career prospects (in terms of availability and choice) with GSPIA or NPSIA but if you are really focused on development specifically then a development specific program makes more sense. Were you going to focus on development anyway?
  5. I was under the impression GSPIA/UOttawa didn't admit people who weren't already bilingual. Was that not the case?
  6. NPSIA requires you to pass a second language test in order to graduate. NPSIA students can take up to language courses for free though, but they do not count towards your degree. The difference is with GSPIA you have to actually take a class in French. Edit: I don't believe Carleton requires French to be your second though - so if you speak Spanish or Mandarin or whatever you're good.
  7. I would say, given their both in Ottawa, it's probably a wash. NPSIA might be *slightly* better in terms of international jobs as its more well known/prestigious but in terms of domestic federal government jobs I doubt there is much of a difference.
  8. I think it's probably reasonable to take their estimate and then subtract a few days. As it's been pointed out, often universities will blatantly lie about when they will send out offers to reduce them being spammed with requests for update. I think first round Munk offers will probably come in Monday/Tuesday at the latest.
  9. I took this year off. I think it was a good decision both for the money aspect and having gained some actually relevant work experience, which I previously did not have. But getting back into the swing of studying is going to be a pain.
  10. So in reviewing the last couple years worth of threads, it looks like U of T's admissions typically start the last week of Feb/first week of March. So next week. And NPSIA's were later than usual last year - the 3 years before that it was between the 10th-15th. So the wait is almost over. Good luck y'all!
  11. I wouldn't worry about it just yet. If they have 400 apps they might just be pulling them at random for all we know.
  12. My status just got updated from "prelim review" to "review in progress by department". My last name is "O" if that helps quell some nerves.
