That's amazing, congratulations!! May I ask for what program you got accepted for and when you applied? I applied to LSE in mid January, but my app is still 'under consideration'.

Mine still says 'under review'. When did your status change? Since it's early, I am assuming 'decision made' is a good sign!

I was on the Munk website and came across this: The deadline for applications to the Munk School of Global Affairs MGA program for fall 2017 has passed, and application files are currently under review. Late applications to the MGA are possible. If you wish to submit a late application to the MGA program, please contact mga@utoronto.ca for more information. In addition, prospective students who are affected by the US-based travel ban, and who wish to transfer their studies to the Master of Global Affairs (MGA) program at the University of Toronto, should also contact mga@utoronto.ca. In these cases we can provide further information regarding how to apply for transfer, and on a case by case basis the number of credits that may be eligible for transfer for the 2017-2018 academic year. I thought it was interesting they mentioned the travel ban and are doing something about for people wanting to transfer. Fingers crossed for those people who applied to Munk, and that we get an offer/ hear something by next week!

I am in my fifth year of undergrad, so I'm still finishing up. I decided to stay back to get my GPA up so I can apply for Masters. Plus since I am double majoring, I had some courses left over to do. How about you? Also, just out of curiosity, what university is everyone from/graduated from?

When I first read it, I skimmed the first few words because I knew you put the school's name. But I reread it trying to find the mistake and found it. Honestly if your profs couldn't find it, I'm sure whoever is looking at your app won't either. They probably have read hundreds of applications and skimmed the 'Graduate School of...' part. Hopefully.

For NPSIA, the clusters I chose were: Intelligence and International Affairs, Conflict Analysis and Conflict Resolution, and International Development Policy. It was so hard to narrow it down to three. I am going over my letter of intent, and will hopefully be submitting it tonight! Good luck to everyone. All that is left to do is play the waiting game.

That's an interesting topic! I was also going to talk about the refugee crisis, but I decided to talk about the politics of cyberspace and cybersecurity. For NPSIA, I am thinking about either taking the research essay or the thesis route. Would I have to explicitly state this in my letter of intent? I am going back and forth between the two.

I submitted my Munk app just a day before it was due! Who else is applying to Munk? What topic did you focus on/choose for the first question? Also, who else is applying to NPSIA? The deadline is just a few days away!
