  1. Possibly a dumb question but what results page are you referring to?
  2. Interviews are going out? I didn't see anyone post about U Ottawa recently and just double-checked?
  3. Sorry, all I know is that I got one. As they tend to have a relatively small applicant pool, I assume they would send them all out today, but I may very well be incorrect. They're individual Skype/Facetime interviews, so there's no specific meeting/open house day, or what have you.
  4. Interviews for University of Manitoba going out. It seems to strictly be an interview for clinical abilities in order to supplement the rest of the application - it's with the Psychological Services Centre.
  5. Rejected from UBC :/ Sounds like several people in here were rejected as well though (personally did not hold high hopes for admission to this program).
  6. Yeah, I was surprised. I thought they were under review like a month ago! Perhaps it was caused by all the technical issues with their new system and confirming receipt of all the documents.
  7. I got an email yesterday saying that my application file was updated. It just had changed from "received" (or whatever exact wording they used) to "under review in department." Is that what you're referring to?
  8. Sorry to hear - can I confirm you mean UBC and not UBC Okanagan (I have not received a rejection from UBC Vancouver)?
  9. Have not heard anything from UBC.
  10. Sorry - I think it works differently for your program in terms of timing and such. I have no idea. For clinical, apparently they have sent or are sending out offers (not sure which) - I was told I would be interviewed if I get up to the right spot from the waitlist.
  11. Waitlisted at University of Regina. Anyone admitted there by chance?
  12. So apparently I applied to the University of Regina without sending them my transcripts... It's not part of the online application, and apparently you were supposed to email them to the university as tentative proof. I have no idea how I lost track of this (believing I sent them via mail I suppose), after being so damn meticulous for every little bit of the application for each university. Sent them anyways (16 days after the deadline), but not holding my breath... I just want to kick myself - all that work undone by one small (or I guess not so small) slip up
  13. Thank you for the reassurance, friend!
  14. Has anyone by chance heard from the University of Manitoba (a less popular choice so maybe there's no one here)? Starting to get worried
  15. Sorry to hear - to say that this would annoy me would be an understatement. I haven't received any such email (yet). Hope they re-review as that would be extremely unfair.
  16. I can confirm that at least some of them do. I know for a fact one of mine was looking at my application herself (as she emailed me asking for info about one aspect that was missing due to a clerical error). It may just depend on the university and/or the specific POI though.
  17. The wait is killing me too, but I think contacting them may very well come off as pushy/too entitled to their time (depends on the individual of course, but still). I think we all just need to stay strong!
  18. Thank you both for clarifying! There were other issues with their new system when I first applied as well (I think one of them was multiple contradictions regarding how reference letters were to be sent). I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. I'm sure the person on the other end of those emails is getting fed up with all the complaints
  19. After reading through this thread, it sounds like Ryerson is a no-go if I haven't heard back yet. Has anyone heard from or received any form of update from the following? Manitoba, UBC, Regina, Lakehead, Ottawa U of Ottawa sent me an email this morning saying my application was updated and that there may have been a technical error... I wouldn't mind knowing exactly what that means... Upon looking at my application, I see that my transcripts have supposedly not been received (they were sent on like Nov. 12). My transcripts, along with other parts of my application, had displayed this for a while. However, other aspects of my application were updated and confirmed as being received, but this still has no little check mark beside it. Is anyone else experiencing this, by chance? Or am I just screwed? :/ For U of M (the one that I care about the most by far), my prospective supervisor emailed me recently, as she was unable to access my GRE scores (I then informally sent her my scores via email to help her out). This is odd because my application file does say that they have been received. Apparently this has happened to a few applicants, in case anyone is reading this and is worried about U of M. I suppose it's a good sign to hear that she's looking over it (I assume this means it may have passed an initial review by the adcom)? Or maybe that's being too optimistic - I don't know. If somehow something went wrong and my application is disqualified due to issues with the transfer of GRE scores... Well, that will be the last straw, ETS!
  20. Hello. I've applied to 6 clinical programs: Manitoba, UBC, Regina, Lakehead, Ottawa, and Ryerson. Ryerson I assume is out of the picture (on their info page, they say that they will invite short-listed applicants to a weekend event by no later than January 15th, or something along those lines). Ottawa emailed me saying that they have updated my file and that there may have been a technical glitch. I have no idea exactly what to say to that... Though my application file says that my official transcripts have not been received, despite them being mailed to the university in early November... So that's great - have asked them what's going on and hope that this is an error on their end. Manitoba (the one that I care about the most by far): My prospective supervisor emailed me recently, as she was unable to access my GRE scores (I then informally sent her my scores via email to help her out). Other universities: Nothing to report yet. Becoming a bit more unsettled each day, because I know of a few people who applied to experimental psych programs who will soon be flying out for interviews. I'm trying to convince myself that it's just different for clinical. Hope everyone is enjoying this day-today anxiety, just as I am! Edit: There actually is another thread:
