  1. Did you get any offers from them?
  2. Hello, Just wondering, has anyone applied to CUNY PhD in Chemistry? if yes, did you hear back?
  3. Has anyone heard back from Clemson/GSU/RIT?
  4. Yeah same here, and there is a local program that is awaiting my answer which I have to give back in 10 days. Lucky you have a backup plan which is waiting for you. Good luck.
  5. Gosh, congratulations and I'm also in the same boat. I got accepted to three universities and all of them didn't offer funding in the email. When I contacted the graduate coordinator, some replied but some haven't. Its normal, I guess you could directly try contacting the chair of the department. I considered the same university as a safety apply for me to be honest, and didn't apply. Good luck! I'm also in the same boat, hopefully you'll get funding.
  6. no worries yeah will do.
  7. no this is for the PhD. and at Texas Tech University.
  8. Thank you. I noticed that depending on the things avail on the website as well but quite strange as its for a PhD and not to offer any funding. I will definitely start by sending some emails to the professors. Thank you.
  9. they haven't mentioned that in the mail. Strange. Approx. $30,000 per year.
  10. Program deadline? Program was rolling basis. Phew thanks for some words. I talked to the graduate advisor of the department and he wasn't that helpful. Should I start by emailing the professors or calling them to see if they have positions opening as RA? Only issue is that, for the I-20 I need the funding included if not I would have to show the total amount for the visa interview.
  11. There is always a but. After trying for the even second year with a full of rejects, I just got my first email of acceptance from Texas Tech University but I did not get any mention of the funding. They've asked me to contact the department. This is for the PhD program for Computer Science. Is this normal? Any advice on how to proceed? The graduate advisor of the department hasn't been helpful when I mailed about the funding, got a response saying its limited. I'm an international student so hard to accept the offer without any funding.
  12. I have applied to UMich and UIUC, didn't hear anything to be honest. My heart is set on a rejection but waiting for the official news.
  13. I'm applying for PhD programs.
