  1. it's okay. they sent out another email yesterday stating that I was in the final round of 37 people. A pretty sincere and encouraging email. So I'm not that sad. Still waiting for more schools. @DBear
  2. @2ManyTacos hug = = I got rejected as well. Right after I woke up from a nap
  3. Rejected by Brown MCM as well
  4. Harvard has a PhD program in Visual and Environment Studies. I am not sure if they have faculties specifically working on the topic of urban spaces, but it is probably worth checking out. UC San Diego might be of your interest as well. Their communication program as well as digital arts program are both great places. Since it is a pretty interdisciplinary field of interest, I would suggest looking at more flexible and multidisciplinary programs so that you have more opportunities to work with faculties across departments. UC Irvines, UC Santa Cruz, UC Santa Barbara, Northwestern, USC, and MIT might have programs that have faculties who specialize in media and urban space.
  5. Has anyone heard back from or received interview requests from Northwestern Screen Cultures PhD program? According to past years' results, they should be holding campus interview at the end to this month, meaning they should have sent out interview requests by now.... Also, seems like NYU MCC has already sent out some interview requests last Friday i suppose there's not much hope in getting in anymore unless they haven't sent out all the interview request yet....
  6. Yeah, hopefully... it says on the admission page for MCC: "Admission to the PhD Program in Media, Culture, and Communication (MCCD) is very competitive. By mid-February, the top candidates will be contacted for a video interview. Following the interviews, six applicants are admitted and begin the program the following September. "
  7. Painfully waiting for NYU MCC interview request....if I still haven't received this, probably have no chance to get in I suppose....
