  1. Hey @John.Liu, no problem. I got an email on 23rd February - US time. [24th February, Italian time]. All the best to you!
  2. Hi there! I'm one among the accepted (Research, Analysis and Design). About my profile, I am an International student (south-asian), have 3 years of research experience (currently working in academia in Italy) with academic background (Master's and Undergraduate) in International Development; was waitlisted last year; re-applied this year with addtional publication and teaching experience that I had in last one year. I am really excited to be starting the program this year, and can't wait for September!
  3. Were you able to contact the Admissions office?
  4. The same email address for the Admissions office (Assistant Dean), who had earlier sent us the waitlist decision in February.
  5. For any future waitlisted candidate, just a small note that I was waitlisted in the Research and Analysis design stream for the Fall 2021 admission; I got the decision on 16th April, and I was emailed by the School that there were no available spaces, and that I might still choose to remain in the waitlist, just in case any space opens up over the summer (which I think is highly unlikely). Just passing on this note to the future student, so that they don't have to remain in an informational vaccuum as was in my case of not having any blog/forum follow-up posts by the previous waitlisted candidates to the Rand Graduate School.
  6. I don't think it has to be by today. Their first letter in February cleared indicated that the waitlng list will continue to exist until the cohort is at its full capacity - which means it could be anytime after April 15 and before the start of the class in September, with uncertainties involved - and that if, the cohort hasn't reached its full capacity already. In much practical sense, however, I would expect the School to communicate the final decision by the end of April, especially for an International student like me who would have to plan much ahead for immigration procedures if thus accepted.
  7. Let's hope we hear it soon. I'm also waitlisted in the same stream. All the best!
  8. Not yet. But was informed by the School that they won't be able to tell anything for sure until closer to April 15. Are you also waitlisted here?
  9. Thanks a lot @ajak568 for writing about that. Fingers crossed. Let's hope we get to work together in some miraculous ways in the days to come. All the best at Tufts - that is anyway a great place to be in.
  10. Which policy stream are you in? Thanks for dropping in.
  11. Thanks a lot for writing here @baluga. May I please ask you what policy stream were you accepted for? Thanks again.
  12. By the way, may I please ask which policy stream are you in, if I may so ask? Thank you again.
  13. Thanks a lot. I am definitely looking forward to being accepted off the waitlist, and I too hope to meet in our future classes together. Thanks a lot for writing. At this moment, any thing distantly positive heightens the hope. Best regards.
  14. Thanks a lot, need more of that!
  15. Congratulations!! That’s a great news for you. I, on the other hand, have been waitlisted. So just waiting out!
  16. Guys, how did your decisions come out to be?
  17. Hello everyone, I wanted to initiate a discussion forum for candidates, like me, who are in the waiting list for Pardee Rand Graduate School. I think the least we can do is to communicate and share our opinions and views on whether there's still a possibility to make it, and to sort of derive a communal inspiration from someone in the previous cohorts, if any, who had been successful to be accepted into the program off the waitlist. We do have to accept that being on the waiting list is a mixbag of hope and despair. But I do invite you to share your feelings, guidance and views here. Thank you.
  18. Hey Folks! Congratulations to everyone who have been accepted! Accepted here too, with Full Scholarship. Hope to see you soon.
  19. Well, my plan to keep off the anxiety is to turn off my email, this forum (after this post), and stay away from the follow-up until 6 pm tomorrow Geneva time; and be occupied in something as productive as watching some good movies. It is either 'Yes' or 'No'; it can't get anything worse than that. See you all on the other side. All the best.
  20. Feels great here too! There should be many. Best wishes.
  21. Hey everyone, I have been reading your posts all along, and I can relate to your anxiousness, especially when few of the applications have already met rejections, and we have less than 48 hours to have our decisions. Let's hope for the best! May we all have what we deserve. MDEV Applicant.
  22. Haha, I know right? Fingers crossed !
  23. So the official email says the pre-selection notification (for a skype interview later on) will be sent on 15 February. Anyone excited? (read: anxious)
