I noticed the offer from the uoZone portal first when it changed to Admitted, then I got an email a couple days (!) later only stating that my status had changed.

Back again with another admission offer! From Queen's Masters of Public Administration. Kind of a last shot backup application I sent, but it's nice to know I seem to be a fine candidate! Hope to hear from Carleton soon and then I can decide between NPSIA and GSPIA! :-)

Yup! No micro/macro economics credits over here, either :-( My conditional GSPIA offer requires that I take an economics course there though instead of having to get the credits before the fall, I wish Carleton's was the same.

I'm a little worried too! I hardly know French either, and GSPIA requires you do at least one course in your second official language, I believe. So... time to brush up on French this summer I suppose! I'm sure plenty of other students will be in a similar situation and that both schools will have the resources to support learning. Plus, there ought to be plenty of immersion, living in Ottawa! I dusted off my German a little last summer using Duolingo on my phone, maybe that's a decent place to start for now?

Might I ask why? I'm still having trouble deciding between NPSIA or GSPIA, they both seem so similar in various ways. I'm half hoping NPSIA declines so my choice is that much easier...

Hopefully! :^) And believe my status changed from incomplete back towards the end of January - I had all my documents in before the deadline, including the ones I sent by mail, and they seem to have updated it as soon as they got them. If it still said "incomplete" past the deadline for submission I would have definitely called!

My GSPIA offer requires an acceptance or refusal by March 20th, if that's any helpful frame of reference.

I will, thank you so much everyone! <3 I'm not sure what did it, but I know when I kept stalking this thread before, I was always wondering what other peoples situations were like, so just to give anyone else an idea: I applied with an 84 overall average, currently finishing my fourth year; my degree is Honours English with an Emphasis in Law and Policy; my references were likely VERY strong, because I'm on a very small campus with super kind professors who I've had for my entire stay; and I frankly don't have an excess of volunteer experience in the area, just a few on-campus jobs I've taken as a research assistant and other similar things. I can't say what got me an offer - and so early too, my surname's at the end of the list alphabetically - but I hope others start seeing offers soon too! It did! And when I click it there's a download .pdf for the offer with the list of conditions and whatnot.
