As the title... Admitted without any funding is it possible to get funding (assistantship or something) after the enrollment? it is a M.S. program. Is it possible to transfer from a M.S. program into a PhD program (same major, same school, same advisor)? Thank you a lot! any advice or comment will be great!

Hello guys! I'm wondering... do you think is it possible to transfer from Master to PhD in the same school? and if there is no funding at first year, is it possible to get fund after the first year? Any experience? The thing is.... I want a PhD and I want money... but what I got is a master and no funding Happy Spring Break by the way....

Hello guys! Do you know any graduate schools with late deadlines? Around April or May or even June? When will those schools send out acceptance/rejection notices? I wish we can all go to our dream schools, but do you think is it necessary to apply (as backup plans) for some schools with late deadlines? I’m tired of waiting and waiting and waiting…. feeling hopeless…. Feel like I should do something…

Hello! I was an undergraduate student on an F-1 visa in the US, I got my bachelor's degree last year (June 2016), and I'm in my OPT right now (I'm working full time). My opt will expire in July 2017. I already applied the graduate school and I will get my new i-20 very soon and I will begin my graduate study in September 2017. My F-1 visa was expired in 2014, but my old i-20 (from my undergraduate school) is not expired until August 2017. I have been in the US from 2014 and I never left the country. Can I stay in the US and go to my graduate school directly? Or should I leave the US and go back to my country to get a new F-1 visa for my graduate school? Thank you! Thank you very much!
