I chose International Development Policy, International Organizations and Global Public Policy, and Project Management. I wanted to switch to Intelligence and International Economic Policy. I'm assuming it will have an impact on my future career path but I'm not sure. Just emailed Tabbatha.

Does this mean that I can divert from/change the cluster that I originally chose in my preferences when I applied to NPSIA? They make you choose three and I realize I actually want to do a totally different cluster. Any advice?

Actually, I have heard from one of my professors that the grad department is not well organized and in a complete mess. I've been to the grad office at Uottawa and they told me they have been having technical difficulties, but still... they don't pick up phone calls on the regular, their response to emails don't answer the questions posed, and I've seen a bunch of posts on how applications have been mislabeled as incomplete when it is the opposite (this happened to me too). GPSIA can't be on equal footing with NPSIA if it's not on the ball like this. Therefore, I'm looking forward to doing my masters at a different school after I finish my undergrad here.

I'm in the same boat, same letter received on the same day for same program. I say just wait it out until Friday. It would have bee nicer to just receive a yes or no instead of maybe, but it is what it is.

Hi! Can anybody give me some insight as to which program would be the better choice at Carleton University in Ottawa: Norman Paterson School of International Affairs vs Masters of Public Policy and Administration? 1. What is the MPPA program reputation and experiences people have had? How does that compare to those who've gone to NPSIA? 2. Any differences in co-op placements? 3. What would be the best choice for future career prospects? I'm not completely settled on a singular career path but the prestige of having a degree from NPSIA seems to open doors, whereas an MPPA may give me more career options and flexibility. Any advice/insight/experience sharing would be so great right now. I've got a limited time to respond to offers. Thanks
