We might hear from the University of Iowa, as well.
-
Per Jessie Eastman, the graduate secretary at Minnesota, admissions decisions will be released the week of 2/19. I feel like there's a decent chance that we will hear form Indiana this week.
-
It looks like they stagger rejections, so I'm expecting one in the next couple of weeks.
-
To those who received rejection emails from NW to check website, did you receive a generic email? Or, was it sent to you by a POI?
-
I can claim a rejection at UW-Seattle. I'm not disappointed about this. I didn't fit with the department very well.
-
This is good to know. I think we could hear from them next week sometime, based on when previous years' decisions were announced. A very sophisticated troll...
-
Anyone claiming the IU-Bloomington CP admit?
-
Perhaps we will hear from them tonight (though probably not), tomorrow, or early next week.
-
NYU has a reputation for being very quantitatively-oriented, so yes.
-
Are you asking about US political science programs or Canadian economics programs? If the former, then a 161 on the quant section will certainly not disqualify you.
-
Alright. Bummed, but maybe it wasn't a great fit.
-
So, do we think that all UT decisions have been announced? Acceptances, that is.
-
Is it safe to assume that if you haven't been waitlisted by UW-Seattle you've been rejected?
-
I did. Have you heard anything?
-
I feel like Indiana is staggering the release of acceptances this year by subfield.
-
Do you think there's a chance that NW has not announced all acceptances?
-
I wonder if it's too early to do this, though. I would inquire sometime toward the end of February.
-
I wonder, too, whether UT-Austin is done.
-
Do you think that all decisions have been announced?
-
The email I received from UNC today taught me to take everything on GradCafe with a grain of salt. It really is just a waiting game. I suppose you aren't done until you've officially been rejected.
-
Thanks, that is good to know. I do wish I had some idea of how many people are on the waitlist, though.
-
Since I was waitlisted at UNC, is there a strong chance that I won't find out about whether I've been accepted/rejected until April?
-
I've just been waitlisted at UNC-Chapel Hill. They accept students off the waitlist every year, according to the professor who emailed me.
-
To my knowledge, there have only been a couple of acceptances.
