  1. Do you mean Indiana?
  2. Were you notified by your POI?
  3. What's your field?
  4. It does make me feel slightly better that the admission was for an Americanist.
  5. What's interesting to me is that Indiana doesn't normally send out acceptances this early.
  6. Tim Hellwig is the DGS. Is she just on the admissions committee?
  7. Was the email from a POI?
  8. Congrats! Did you find out from a POI?
  9. Do you think this means that the admissions committee is done deliberating, or that all acceptances have been sent out? Only one acceptance has been posted to the results page. I feel like there would be more if all acceptances have been sent out.
  10. Congrats, and this is good to know! Is your main field IR or CP?
  11. Anyone claiming the waitlist at UT-Austin?
  12. Any idea as to how competitive admission to Russian and East European studies programs is? I applied to IU-Bloomington's program. Thanks.
  13. Has anyone else heard from Texas? It seems odd that only one person has posted their result.
  14. It seems odd to me that only one decision has been posted if this is the case.
  15. Starting to get concerned about UT-Austin, since my field is CP.
  16. Congrats! How long ago did you receive the email?
  17. Anyone claiming the U Washington admits?
  18. Any chance that we will hear from Texas today still?
  19. I'm hoping that UT-Austin announces today.
  20. Do you know when they will announce them?
  21. I just spoke with the admissions secretary at UT-Austin regarding my application, and the committee is still deliberating.
  22. I'm interested in comparative political behavior (esp. contentious politics) and informal political-economic networks (i.e., corruption) in authoritarian polities. I'm interested in Russia and the post-Soviet world, though my comparative interests extend to East Asia.
  23. Any chance that we will hear from UT-Austin today?
  24. I feel like we should have heard from Texas by now.
