  1. Has anyone heard from McGill (clinical psych) or Concordia?
  2. Does anyone know if Ryerson requires GRE? It doesn't seem like it from the website. http://www.ryerson.ca/psychology/programs/graduate/admission-requirements/
  3. Yes, I studied in French at uOttawa. Hmm that is interesting! My psych classes will for sure improve my GPA if that is the case. The only reason it is lower is from all the chemistry courses I took. Thanks for your input! Really appreciate it
  4. The GPA is from my Health Sci degree, not sure how I would calculate for the extra courses... wouldn't I just add them to the tally of other classes? Would appreciate some help in this area. McGill does not require GRE if your first language is French (which mine is!)
  5. Hello all, I'm applying to McGill (have a supervisor lined up), UQAM and Concordia in Clinical Psych. First time applying so any advice would be useful. I have a somewhat unconventional background: I have a bachelor of Health Sciences. But I'm doing online Athabasca courses to get all my psych credits required by L'Ordres des psychologues du Québec. GPA is 3.7 which I worry is too low. I have lots of work and volunteer experience in health and mental health, and I now work as an RA on a youth mental health project (very big and prestigious). I have a publication in molecular biology, but I will be presenting at a conference in October on a psych related topic so I feel my research chops are okay. Not doing GRE because it's not required where I'm applying. Any input would be great, and I thought I would share my background so that others might do the same, I find it helps to get an idea of what's normal/where everyone is at. Thanks!
